Sure Cuts a Lot card

I have started to play with this software on the Cricut machine, this is the first card I made designed with this software.

The letters and the hearts are made with a flocked paper. The stamped images are from my recent purchase of Two Scoops (Basic Grey) clear stamps "heart smudge". I used Encore pad "pink".

Doctors and Dentists!

What a to see the knee surgeon for my post-op check up but first I have to get a full mouth xray to take to see an Oral Surgeon who is going to squeeze me in as an emergency! I cracked a tooth(half of which is still in my gum) and the temporary filling has fallen out!

I am going to be even more of a "bionic woman" after the dentist gives me a tooth implant!

My knee is coming along nicely and I don't use the crutches around the house but am still mindful when venturing out, though hope to be told today to throw them away:)

So take my mind off all this I have been playing with the Cricut and have even invested in the "Sure Cuts a Lot" I can use any font or suitable image.

Mike is enjoying playing with the machine and investigating the software ! Always a good thing:)

Here is a pic of my first self-designed card ...made for a friend who wicked woman that she is got me hooked on all this stuff...LOL
It is a simple design but one must start somewhere, the circle is the front and I have put contrasting paper behind to highlight the cut outs.

Cricut Cards

My friend Marion has lent me her Cricut machine while she is away overseas for the next 4 months! I am spoilt! Well on friday Carol and Jackie came to my house(I still am not allowed to drive the car after my knee replecaement op!) to have a "swarm" ! That is they brought their Cricut machines and showed me how to use Marion's. What fun and it can do so much with plenty of practice! Here are my first efforts. And one that Carol made for me...which is complex and amazing!

Rosie's 60th Birthday

My SIL asked me to make something speical for her sister's 60th Birthday.

This is what I came up with. A large craftwood letter "R". It has been painted and sponged and stamped. Then different embellishments added as well as pictures of Rosie as a child and now.

On the back I have attached a "card" that can be written inside.
