Bandages off!

WOOHOO I got all the bandages off my hand yesterday and it is functioning like a new one...LOL.
I am looking forward to being able to do some craft over the weekend. It is a long weekend here to celebrate Australia Day!
I have been and had the pampering treatment of a manicure today(in preparation to attend a wedding tomorrow) so no craft work ...can't afford to chip the polish...LOL

trying again

Fingers crossed I manage it correctly this time.

hmm forgot images

These are the images to go with my last post.....ugh having a big plaster slab and bandage on your right hand leads to lots of frustration as I keep hitting strange keys !!!

I am going to scream it now wont let me add an image...arghhhhhh
I will try again later.

sun/moon images

I got bored with the tennis and cricket (all that is on TV or radio), had enough computer games so tried to make some more cards.
I stamped up some sun /moon images when I found some interesting background pieces in the drawer.

One handed!

I needed to make a card for my cousin's 25th Wedding Anniversary and having one hand bandaged wasn't going to stop me!

So here is what I came up with.

The silver flares a lot...phooey

Sunday Arvo.

Well we have been off line all day @#*% to the ISP...LOL
So we went shopping and to the movies. Got a friends birthday present and a couple of things I needed then it was off to see "The Water Horse"...awwwwwwwww it was lovely, bit of a tear jerker. Seems the only email I missed out on all day was Spam...#$%&...LOL
Hope your having a great weekend whatever you are doing.

Home already !

Well it is amazing here I am home again, typing left handed while my right hand is bandaged and in a sling! 2 weeks like this could drive me a little nuts....but who will notice the difference...LOL
Operating the mouse left handed is a whole new ball game, but so far so good I have not made any major blunders nor deleted anything I shouldn't...LOL

Funky

My friend Marion gave me some rather funky paper clips (handbag and dress) recently and here are a couple of ideas I came up with to use them on cards.

30th Birthday

Well I am going to be a little bit quiet for a few days as typing could be an issue after this morning when I have surgery on my right hand to release the nerves in a Carpel Tunnel operation. Will get rid of the horrible pins and needles and numbness though.

This is the latest special card I have made for my neice's 30th birthday..Happy Birthday Tiff!
The background is actually dark green.

Silver Anniversary

I did get around to making something for my brother's Silver Wedding Anniversary. It turned out to be a bit more than a card. I had the base of last years calender which stands up on its own. I painted it silver and added a couple of pages I have created, the top one flips over to reveal the second page.

Wedding Card

I started out the day to make a Silver wedding Anniversary card for my brother and his wife and ended up making a Wedding card for a friend's daughter.

It is hard to see in the scan but the background paper for the initials is a lovely silvery/white watermark paper and the paper behind the heart brad is embossed with tiny rosebuds.

OOPS!

Oh dear I have just been looking through my blog and realised that on 29th Dec I attributed a card to Pat and Ron that was actually made by Mary ...sorry everyone. Here is the one that Pat and Ron actually sent me.

last for today.

The last 2 for today are from Becky and Margreet.

Thank you to everyone .

and more...

The next few are from Barbara P, Ingeborg and Marianne. The santa image done by Marianne has micro beads covering it...looks cool.

These are from Leonie, Heike H, Ingrid and her sons, Thorge and Hagen.

Post Christmas Christmas mail.

My postie has been working hard to deliver me lots of wonderful Christmas /New Year Mail, prolonging the festive season. Thought I would share some with you. To start with cards from Bambi, Fran and Chris.
