Green Love

I found a blog challenge that encourages you to use up your stash Shopping your Stash...something I have been trying to do for sometime now. I constantly find goodies that I had forgotten I had or had just not used in ages. As tempting as it is to buy new stuff all the time I am trying to resist (not always succeeding of course). The challenge this week is St Patrick's Day, Charms or Predominantly Green.
I opted to go Charmingly Green.
I masked and stamped the Penny Black image 'Pickin' Posies' (which is a rather old stamp) and coloured it using Tombow markers. The frog is by 'Sparkle N Sprinkle' and also coloured with Tombow markers. The background is a water wash of Distress ink 'Tumbled Glass' and 'Stormy Sky'. For the grass I used an All Night Media (think this company has folded) stencil/template 'Summer Fun' and dye ink 'Chartreuse' by Impress. I cut a scalloped edge out of Patterned paper with an MFT die from Blueprints #6. The crown on the frog was clear acetate I coloured the back with Gold Krylon pen. The 'love' metal charm I bought in Europe 15 years ago...maker unknown. A touch of Gold Glitter Wink of Stella brush on the girl's dress and Clear Glitter Wink of Stella on her hair ribbon.
